Vandalism on the increase in Vadamaradchi

A fisherman's fishing hut has been burnt down by vandals on Monday night in the coastal village of Thayaladi in Vadamaradchi East.

 

The incident follows the burning of a fishing boat a few days earlier in the nearby coastal village of Koddodai.

Scotland Yard begins terrorism investigation against four Tamils

Four Tamils who arrived in the UK are being investigated by Scotland Yard under Terrorism Act 2000.

 

All four of them arrived at London Luton International Airport on Wednesday, 10 April 2019, and were arrested the following day under Section 11 of Terrorism Act 2000.
