Tamil political parties and civil society groups have come together in Northern Tamil Eelam to launch a mass ‘uprising’

Two rescue helicopters were scrambled to help the trio, who were given CPR treatment on the packed beach. The air ambulance and the search and rescue coastguard helicopters landed at the scene in Camber Sands, Kent shortly before 2.30pm. Paramedics gave emergency treatment to the casualties on the sand, while helicopters circled in the sky above. A spokesman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said they received a report at 2.15pm that "three people required urgent medical attention". Helicopters from Lydd and Lee-on-Solent in Hampshire were called. The spokesman added: "There is also a Senior Coastal Operations Officer on scene. An air ambulance has also been sent to the location.
