Indian soldiers killed Pirapaharan's son - former Sri Lankan army commander

Wednesday October 07, 2020

Filed Marshal (Rtd.) Sarath Fonseka has claimed the LTTE leader's son, Balachandran Pirapaharan, was not killed by Sri Lankan troops.

Making a statement in the Parliament on Tuesday, the former Sri Lankan military commander claimed those pictured with Balachandran before he was shot dead were wearing the jungle combat uniforms worn by the Indian military forces.

Fonseka made the claim after Selvarajah Kajendran, the TNPF MP, accused the Sri Lankan military of killing Balachandran in cold-blood.
