Lock-down Sri Lankan military officer diagnosed with the coronavirus

An army officer who supervised the detention of foreign tourists has been diagnosed with the coronavirus, the Sri Lankan military has said.

 

A total of 28 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Sri Lanka, despite the authoritarian measures imposed by the Rajapaksa government.

 

Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan president has appointed the his military commander Lt General Shavendra Silva, the genocidaire who was recently slapped down with a travel ban by the American government, to head the operation centre for the prevention of the coronavirus.
