Tamil victims of India's war crimes remembered

Tuesday November 06, 2018

A memorial was held today in Kaluvanchikudi, Amparai, to pay tribute to Tamils massacred by the so-called Indian peacekeepers.

On 6 November 1987, Indian troops went on a rampage in the village of Kaluvanchikudi, killing 14 Tamils.

The massacre was carried out in retaliation for a land mine attack by the LTTE against the Indian troops.
