The Tamil youth have taken the lead in rescue efforts in flood-hit Northern Tamil Eelam, as Sri Lanka turns a blind eye to the plight of Tamils.
Floods caused by heavy rains over the past few days have affected over seventy-five thousand Tamils in the districts of Mullaithivu and Killinochi, with many being forced to leave their homes and seek shelter in schools.
Many roads have also become inaccessible, with floods sweeping away parts of roads in some villages.
Thousands of acres of rice fields have also submerged in water, damaging crops ready for harvest.
Battling through the floods, the Tamil youth are continuing their rescue efforts, saving thousands of lives.
