Tuesday March 03, 2020

TNA leaders Sumanthiran and Saravanapavan have clashed over the allocation of party resources, political sources in Jaffna said.

On Sunday midnight, the Sri Lankan president dissolved the island-state's parliament and set 25 April 2020 as the date for the general election.

Meanwhile, the Jaffna branch of ITAK's youth front has passed a resolution at the group's meeting on Monday demanding young candidates in the district to be fielded in the general election.
