Two civilian staff at Sri Lankan army headquarters diagnosed with COVID-19

Two civilian staff at the Sri Lankan army headquarters have been diagnosed with COVID-19, sources in Colombo have told the Tamil Polity.

 

It is believed that they had contracted the coronavirus after coming into contact with a military intelligence officer involved in tracking down coronavirus patients in Colombo.

 

The military intelligence officer who originally contracted the coronavirus has now been put on a ventilator, sources further told the Tamil Polity.
