Two ISIS terror aides of the Eastern governor arrested

Two aides of the Eastern governor have been arrested by the Sri Lankan police over links with the international terror group, ISIS.

 

At least 48 bullets were recovered from the terror suspects, when the Sri Lankan police raided the governor's office today in the coastal town of Kathankudi, Batticaloa.

 

Mr M.L.A.M.Hizbullah, the Sri Lankan government's governor for the Eastern Province, who led a faction of the Sri Lankan paramilitary unit, the Jihad Group in the 1990s, has long been accused of grooming Islamist terrorists and inciting hatred against Tamils in the East. He has also been accused of having a hand in the massacre of hundreds Tamils.
